The Retreat
The open living room and dining room areas allow for all the togetherness, without the cabin-fever, even on the rainiest of days. The backyard and covered patio keep kiddos happily off their screens, and makes memorable bbq nights instictive .

three bedrooms to choose from
Need some quiet time? The private queen bedroom overlooking the garden is great for those needing peace. With a rich slate blue accent wall this room has both country sophistication and tranquility.
Unwind in the woodsy room, with two queen beds and plenty of room to spare. Fun fact: the paneling in the room was sourced by Pete, the Army Veteran who built the home. He worked in a Forks sawmill for 40 years.
The airiness of the NW bedroom will lull its occupants into relaxation. Two queen beds make this room accommodating for groups, and with built in cabinets for storage its a great spot for luggage to disappear from sight.

How it all began
Sawyer by trade, Carpenter by choice
Oscar Peterson, and his wife Wilma started construction of the Peterson Farmhouse in 1959.
After returning home to Forks from World War II, as a medic in the Army, "Pete" as he was known to his friends, married the love of his life. He purchased the land for his farm from his grandmother. The young couple tirelessly planned and constructed their dream-home, built with local lumber from the mill where Oscar spent 40 years, all while raising their three children.
Though Oscar and Wilma are no longer with us, their tradition of hosting every family gathering with the greatest care inspires their 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren to share their home with its country style hospitality.
Country Comfort
Family Style Hospitality
Oscar and Wilma Peterson taught the family to be welcoming to both friends and strangers.
We are committed to delivering an unparalleled experience, making your stay in Forks just the first of hopefully many.

UNWIND
